The story is that the services of a herald were used to come up with this design. The red lion rampant because the school is in Kenya and the eagle head because of the mythical Griffin which has the body of a lion and the head of an eagle. The two bugles are for the school band. The colours correspond to the School uniform. The Stars in the background because Starehe sounds like starry.

I have done few portraits yet the 50mm is a "portrait" lens. This was originally a head and shoulders shot but cropped it to remove distractions in the background. 16/50 Just managed to sneak this one in before midnight. 1/4000 f/1.8 Still a bit overexposed in parts at the fastest shutter speed I could do. Will do some retouching in Lightroom and the results are below.
